Changing the Windows Border Padding

By default, Vista has a somewhat thick border around the windows. If you want to reduce this:
1. Right click on an open area of the desktop
2. Select Personalize
3. Click on Window Color and Appearance
4. If you have Aero then Open classic appearance properties for more color options
5. Click on the Advanced button
6. In the Item section, select Border Padding
7. Change the size
8. Apply / Ok
