Why would it make a difference, the Tiffie had missile also, and Red Flag allows all weapost to be used. The F-22 pilots said that Tiffie was out turning the F-22, which is supposed to be impossible!

The Typhoon would be scrapped in less than 30 seconds in a gun fight with a Raptor. In a BVR (Beyond Visual Range) a Raptor would come out on top any day. Go look up a video...I cant remember where it is located but look up F-22 vs. F-15. The USAF got 5 of their best F-15 pilots and took on an F-22. The F-15's were scratched all simultaniously from the F-22 without them even getting a warning of that baby being on radar.

With oune slight flaw:

The F-22 needs to be withing rthe Tiffie's missile range befire it can even lock BVR!

And yeah, OK, Red Flag doesn't mean anything, they don't do BVR, it's all dogfighting :D

So far, in all fights the Tiffie has been in, it has been shot down exactly once, by a Miul Mi-24V Hind of the Czech Air Force
